Mashallah, very informative lecture. All the aspects of human behaviour that you have pointed out - pride, aggressive behaviour, attention-getting behaviour, etc...are psychological issues. You are very right to point out that we need to understand our behaviour. That is the core of our deen. It is a social issue, and I would appreciate if you point out that it is a parenting/ community issue (proverbial village raising children...). The emotional needs of the children are being overlooked. That translates into adult self-esteem issues.

SubhanALLAH. what an amazing lecture this was. It actually touched my heart, especially the last part when we're only capable of talking to ALLAH when our heart is soft, and it can only be soft once we're having soft and humble attitude towards humans i.e not being mean. such beautiful words of Quran. Ustadh Noumans lectures are absolutely brilliant. they make me love Islam more than ever :)
